Demountable, circular IR cell holder for the FTIR method. Aperture 14 mm Ø

Application areas:

Ideal for analysis of liquids, mulls (suspension of sample mixed with mineral oil) and capillary films.

Cell assembly:

For mulls or capillary films the cell comprises either one drilled and one un-drilled or two un-drilled IR windows.

For analysing liquids the cell is made up of one drilled and one un-drilled IR window, a PTFE spacer of appropriate thickness for the required pathlength and a PTFE gasket to help prevent leakage.

The cell is filled via the Luer-lock ports.

Scope of delivery:

• stainless steel holder
• two PTFE gaskets
• PTFE O-rings
• two PTFE plugs
• compensation ring
• needle plate
• a packet of PTFE spacers in various thicknesses
