Overview:

The H2D2 light source uses a 110 W high-brightness deuterium lamp offering six times the intensity of a conventional Hamamatsu L2D2 lamp. Despite the high intensity, the L11799-01 is extremely stable and has a long operational lifetime. Cooling is by compressed air - the tubing connections are integrated on the lamp - thus making the system easier to use than water-cooled lamps.
