Permanently sealed cells

Sealed cells, ideal for routine applications with the same quantity and type of sample or for precise quantitative measurements

These cells are permanently mounted and sealed in a stainless steel holder. The circular aperture makes them suitable both for FTIR and dispersive methods. They have a precise path length and are calibrated by the interference fringe calculation method before dispatch from the factory. A short path length is recommended for concentrated samples. Thus, the more the sample is diluted, the longer the path length should be. The fixed path length enables accurate and reproducible results, making it ideal for quantitative measurements. The cells are filled via the two Luer lock filling ports and are available in NaCl, KBr, CaF2, BaF2, KRS-5 and ZnSe and in seven different path lengths ranging from 0.015 mm to 1.0 mm.
